Educational Resources provides comprehensive evaluation services in order to develop a plan that best meets the needs of the client. A list of the student's needs is developed through a careful process of interviewing the student and family, evaluation of school records, administering interest surveys, and making recommendations for comprehensive educational evaluations. Ultimately, the list of needs will reflect the student's abilities, interests, achievements, academic level, creative and athletic talents, and school setting preferences. In assessing a student's needs, experience has taught the importance of looking toward the future and long-term goals will also be discussed.

Once the initial evaluation process is complete Educational Resources will develop a list of appropriate schools. Schools will be selected that best suit the student's needs and long term goals. Educational Resources will provide support through the application process, with special attention given to developing interview skills, essay writing, and what to look for when visiting a potential school.

While a significant number of students are placed in boarding schools, it is sometimes advantageous for a client to consider day schools or to continue in their present public school program.
